Idk. I’m probably overthinking it all, but maybe not. The cost of food and general goods is at an all time high, & ppl may feel isolated in the struggle. Any little bit to alleviate that helps. The best time to plan for disaster is before it hits.

The issue here is everyone is spicy brained lol and we don’t know what we want to eat till we have a craving. So I wouldn’t want stuff to go to waste.

I’m really sitting here thinking of ways to create a community kitchen. Make several loaves of bread; buy the whole turkey & ham breasts & cheese blocks at Costco to slice at home & divvy out for sammiches. Buy the large cartons of eggs and packs of meat to split.

I joke (not really) about hating putting together furniture. But I feel like having some knowledge of how to build things is an important skill. Knowing how to measure and cut wood, make repairs, reupholster furniture, etc. Learning how to make things last is essential.
