Remember the good news I mentioned a few days ago?

An icy fingertip grazed his lips, and Yasha couldn't help pressing against it, proving his devotion to the spirit. He suckled on the frozen digit, wondering if it might melt against the heat of his tongue, and tasted mead and gingerbread and unexpected winter comfort. His eyes must have blown wide at the surprising sensation, for the spirit's blank face convinced him it was smiling under its sheen of blue frost. When it made to pull back, Yasha reached out with his still-gloved hand and held it in place, only realising too late that he had dared to touch a spirit without permission. Still, he couldn't let it stop touching him, and it seemed to respond in kind, acquiescing to his unspoken demand. Indeed, the spirit appeared to take his brashness as a compliment, and inched itself closer until Yasha could feel the frost of its very body even beyond the all-around chill of the winter air.

I have been chipping away at a couple of new original monster smut stories for a while now - in between staving off a bout of depression and feeling like I'm on the verge of falling ill, it's been tough, but I'm slowly getting back into good writing habits.

I want 2026 to be the year where we collectively stop rewarding negativity. Stop bringing others down to bring yourself up. Stop bringing attention to genuinely awful people. Stop ignoring people bringing positive changes to the world. We need more kindness and empathy. I’m dead serious

Hello, my lovelies! I am trying to get back into the swing of daily writing. Going to the gym this morning for the first time in about six weeks definitely helped me to feel a little bit more positive about the day, and now I'm making a little headway with my minotaur market story. Slow and steady!

I don't celebrate Christmas because I'm a filthy heathen non-believer, but every now and then I get an urge to write Krampus smut.

Weirdest 'Pillion' take I've seen so far is a reviewer saying he thought Colin's dad was "submissive to his wife".

idk, my guy, if you're established in the queer media space and even you think a straight guy loving and supporting his terminally ill wife is "submissive" behaviour, I have questions.

I was going to go to the cinema this afternoon, but an awful rainstorm started up just as I was getting ready to leave. It's too late to cancel my booking, but too nasty outside to actually go out.

My day in Birmingham yesterday reminded me that I need to avoid every city centre in the country from now until mid-January.

A carved reindeer with a hole where its face should be, like those carnival attractions where you put your face into a cut out picture to have your photo taken. But the effect is much more creepy than fun.

I know the point of this is that you put your face in the hole so you're the reindeer, but it honestly just looks like a new cryptid just dropped.

Good morning, my darlings! I'm halfway through a very busy weekend, currently travelling to the second of two full-day events, so no writing updates today. Hopefully I will be able to spend plenty of time working on stories tomorrow, though, and will have something to share.
