Honestly after this season I’d advocate looking to replace him. Not necessarily selling him, you understand - buying a replacement as a main striker. I love him as a player but he does go through these dry spells every now & then. We need someone more consistent if we’re to push on

No issues with that game. Great result, no real gameplay problems but just a few execution issues & individual decision-making errors, but those things will tighten up as we go on. Decent day.

You play Ben Earl at 8 for his strengths, and he does have a lot of qualities to his game. Arguably tho you’d have to say a bigger, more physical 8 gets through Potter there and scores that try.

Having prevented an England try & running in an intercept from in front of his own try line you’d have to say that few minutes from Harry Potter was…

See the annoying thing about this season is Man City will probably win the title. Liverpool are off the pace, and Arsenal are on top now but will inevitably choke come March/April, and there aren’t any other serious challengers so City will just shithouse their way to the top.

I said this the other day - Ty is a better *defender* but Pau suits the way Emery wants to play better, with his reading of the game, his range of passing, vision & chance creation. That’s why he’s the preferred option.
