I watched the new trailer last night, it seems like a generic sci-fi action movie, not Star Trek.

People ask why I don't use AI for the voices in Heir to the Empire. The answer is because I have an excellent (and now award winning) cast of voice actors who deserve all the recognition

It's comes from a combination of two things I was a big fan of back in the 00s: Star Wars and Buffy the Vampire Slayer.
Okay, yes, I still am a fan of both of those.
It was so good with a lot more potential. I later made the mistake of reading some unproduced scripts, including the season finale that ended in a huge cliffhanger.
Dominion sounds good too, I'll have to give it a try and be prepared for it to just stop.
Crusade, the Babylon 5 spinoff. Despite some odd soundtrack choices and studio interference, I really enjoyed this show.
Even though it was centered on a ship exploring space, it didn't feel like Star Trek, which was a smart move.
After an episode with major plot reveals it was cancelled.
