For WordPress, the key is to run a lean site with minimal plugins and use a vulnerability alert monitor.

The problem is companies inject random plugins and never update or monitor.

This will continue to happens look how many times LiteSpeed has been breached this year with 5M active installations

Same for me last night. Audited a range of plugins looking just for XSS and got nowhere.
