How was it?

There are some videos on my insta profile if you want to get a flavour for how it looks and sounds in the hands of a total novice 😂. Most swear by Roland and Yamaha and they are great. Alesis was good value tho and released new modules in the last year so felt ahead on tech front.

I started having lessons about 5 weeks back and bought an electric kit about 2 weeks ago. By far the best thing I’ve bought in a looong time! After lots of research I went for the Alesis Strata Core and haven’t regretted it.

Maybe some commonality in us senior partners having senior moments 😂

Walked straight past my washing machine and down my garden path with a load of dirty washing that nearly ended up being deposited in the recycling bin! Think I might be a little tired today 🤪

It’s very lovely to see so many people also abandon X and turn up here…. Although I have to say over the last couple of months I’ve been here I was enjoying the slower pace and periods of quiet…maybe I’m at an age where I need an anti-social network 😂

Yes, it's much better. The app developed for volunteers to timekeep and scan and the web app used to process and manage results have also incrementally improved loads over recent time. Massive kudos to any product/tech people at #parkrunHQ #parkrun

Haha. I’m in the same boat and live about the same distance from a parkrun starting line!
