Didn't even get to watch, the stream ended a couple minutes before OT started. What a disaster.
So the stream ends with like 3 minutes left in reg time and then on top of that, the Sceptres lose in OT
At least let me suffer in real time #pwhl
Did the @pwhlsceptres.bsky.social #pwhl stream on Prime Video end abruptly? Did I miss something?
Tonight was a very bad night.
@samreich.bsky.social I bought my wife a dropout subscription for her birthday this month. I don't think she's spent a day without watching game changer since then. 10/10, incredible ROI.
George Springer’s three-run home run pushed the Blue Jays past the Mariners in Game 7 of the ALCS.
Toronto is headed to the Fall Classic for the first time since 1993. Seattle remains the only MLB team that has never reached the World Series.

Whatever payoff there is for Canada will likely not come until the dust settles, imo, but she might be able to help chart that course.
Ultimately she works for Canada, though, and her job will be to protect and secure Canadian interests. I'd love to see Ukraine benefit as much as the next guy, but she's not doing this job on behalf of Ukraine.
We'll certainly see... her history with Eastern Europe paints a hopeful picture for the future.
Best case, we create a scenario where everyone benefits AND hostilities can be cooled.
No matter what, she can at least add some precision and focus to Canada's involvement.
I like Freeland for Ukraine. She's got the resume for it. I had said a number of times during the Liberal leadership race that if she didn't win, it'd be a massive blunder not to point her east and pull the trigger. I look forward to seeing what she can do for Canada in her new role.

Today I learned Matthew Good is Canadian. Been listening to him for a while. This is great news! Hope I'll get to be at one of his shows this fall.
Congratulations to Francis Scarpaleggia on his recent and sudden promotion to Prime Minister

a better version of it will give me? Or is it something I only need to use a few times and then whatever happens to it, happens?
I'd always prefer to have good products, of course, but I'm not made of money either. 🤣
I will buy premium products for things I plan to use a lot, or that I want to be really reliable. I don't care if I get a cheap Phillips screwdriver, I have 10 already but I just can't find any of them, y'know?
It's a negotiation for me — am I going to get the value out of this item that buying 1/2
Obviously I just have a bunch of my dad's old hand-me-downs (as he has cycled through dozens, if not hundreds, of tools). I grew up with mostly Mastercraft, I think.
I'm not really picky with brand loyalty though.
My dad's gotten plugged into the Ryobi battery ecosystem and it's like Apple. It's kind of a matter of convenience.
He recently swapped the mower out for a gas one though because the battery wasn't (pardon the pun) cutting it — it didn't last long enough to do the whole yard, or it drained it.
Feels a little bit like sending him out onto the ice. 😬
I'm a fan of Uncommons though so I'll eat it right up.
Bummer to see Erskine-Smith not making a return to the ministry, but I think he'll be able to make a dent as a free agent. He's one of my favourite MPs.
Bummer to hear about the change, but optimistic to see you unleashed in Parliament.
Thanks for continuing to represent your community.
@donvdavies.bsky.social has the distinct look of a man who would point a stud finder at himself & then confirm that "it's working"
I would trust him with my life & also my wall hanging needs

My dad made a pro-Conservative post on Facebook before the election and nearly his entire comment section disagreed with him.
You know it's bad when even the Facebook comments section thinks you're wrong for leaning right.

I, for one, am tired of [gestures broadly]. I have grown weary of [points in all directions simultaneously].
The one I am specifically referencing is David Coletto of Abacus Data.
Here is his page: abacusdata.ca/team/david-c...
I can't really speak to how they stack up to other polls — that's a bit above my knowledge of pollsters in general — but he gives the impression of confidence in his findings.
I don't want to make carbonara. I want to have made carbonara.
