why do people forget about the topic of school shootings until one happen? then they pause, send prayers, and then keep acting like nothings happened. my heart goes to families who’ve lost loved ones and bear the burden of those tragedies every day💔. how can we change this?

while having a day to remind each person to give thanks is a nice reminder, let’s not forget to acknowledge the history of thanksgiving and the sufferings of the people Indigenous to the land. what happened greatly affected the people and continue to affect them to this day.
