Great to see the Nichijou absurdity is absolutely still there, but it feels markedly different with a greater focus on characters, the surprising&spontaneous ways their daily lives intersect, playing with tone, playing with narrative structure, etc.!

Still really really good and fun, rolling with top notch animation!! As we get to see more of the characters, it's really nice to see that these guys, as tropey as they are, look at each other as humans and act accordingly, putting empathy first

I'm guessing the first stage of enjoying hot chocolate is like 10-15 minutes of holding a hot cup and enjoying a nice smell with tiny sips until it cools down enough to Actually drink, which doesn't align with my expectation of "oh it's ready drink Now"

Expert difficulty is hitting a sweet spot for me where builds and decisions matter a lot to give me room to get used to parrying
and even when I'm parrying 90% of attacks, there's room to strategize for more damage
