Elda Bradičić, impiegata alla Cassa di Risparmio, sottraeva materiali per la Resistenza. Il suo capoufficio, fascista solo di facciata, la copriva in silenzio. Quando la situazione si fece pericolosa, fuggì e si unì ai partigiani.

Claudio Marsanich ricorda suo padre, portuale ai Magazzini Generali. Di giorno lavorava, di notte distribuiva volantini. Quando seppe che lo cercavano i nazisti, fuggì nei boschi.

Gino era ancora minorenne quando fu arrestato nel ’42 per attività antifascista.
Dopo il confino a Ustica, fu liberato l’8 settembre 1943.
Stava tornando ma un contatto lo fermò:
“Non tornare. Vai coi partigiani.”

Aveva 22 anni.
Era una staffetta partigiana a Fiume.
In seguito all'occupazione tedesca della città qualcuno la denunciò.
Dal carcere cittadino di via Roma, fu trasferita alla Risiera di San Sabba, per poi esser caricata su un treno per Auschwitz.
