Because it feels relevant as we continue to evaluate the media and our representatives’ statements, my favorite way to identify the active vs. passive voice.

I've been not very online lately due to surgery recovery and such and while I don't know exactly what's going on, I do know that it's a good idea not to put all your eggs in one basket.

I'm a wee bit notorious for tearing through books when I get into them and What Stalks the Deep by @tkingfisher.com continues the tradition. If you like horror and dry wit narration, I seriously recommend this and the entire series. I REALLY hope there will be more.

If I didn't already have a reason not to do month-long-art-prompts (still recovering from surgery), the burnout I did from the ONE time I did it and not even finished drawings, just inked doodles, is reason enough. Instead I will commit art necromancy and you all get to relive my art crimes.

Sooo life loves to happen apparently. Long story short, it's gonna be a very slow fall while I'm recovering. In the mean time, I still have stuff in the shop, plus my Patreon which has some queued updates for the next few months so any shares or sales would be very helpful.

Gotta say, I'm kinda shocked I haven't seen "Cake-Pop Demon Hunters" as an ice cream flavor or coffee flavor yet.

I still have not been able to play yet (curse you work day) but I am mollified by all the nonsense that has been popping up in my feed.

Success! It is done! The irony here is I wasn't actually going to be able to play it until tonight but I wanted to listen to the soundtrack because if it's anything like Hollow Knight I will have it on repeat for a few years.

It's the futile hope that this time, when we click the button, somehow this time it will be different as opposed to the other 100 times we've clicked the button.

The hilarious part is, I knew this was going to crash the Steam servers or at least make them consider their life choices. This always happens when big games come out for downloadable platforms, and it took WoW almost 15 years to figure it out, but poor Steam is having a moment.

Hey Firefox users.

I have been seeing all this sexy Watto art and let me tell you for a brief moment I forgot the horrors of this world so I could have the horrors of that world and for that I am grateful.

Why GDQ? Because as far as I can see they're a good community that includes EVERYONE, and welcomes them. They walk the walk. And I love video games and always have and how they bring people together. Even if I suck at many games, I can offer the skills I do have to do some good.

The world is on fire and it's very hard to stay positive, but I swore I would try to be a light in the dark, so here I am drawing up plans for some an art-lamp that I can hopefully donate as a prize for a future GDQ fundraising event. I'm not good at being loud and in front so I will do what I can.
