And once the visa holder's are here they're pretty much trapped. Either you suck it up and stay or you leave the country. They also charge them for housing and transportation. I know of a club who was charging them $600 a month each, 3 bedroom apartment, 2 to a room. And that was over a decade ago.

While I despise the man with every cell in my body, without these visas alot of country clubs and hotels in South Florida would not be able to operate. Tourism is the number 1 industry and Americans tend to want to work in the restaurants. Country clubs are brutal during high season.
