As someone who has both swam long distances and spent plenty of time at the drawing table, I find the page painful!
This is YOU telling your comic shop to pre-order Toxic Crusaders #5 by me and @tristanwright.bsky.social on sale April 16. You're accosting the employee. They fear for their life. You will be arrested and arraigned on charges. I said to call or email!
Even if you planned a war with Iran entirely through ChatGPT it would probably tell you the Strait of Hormuz could be closed as a result. What are we even doing.
We're about four months away from an author staging their own kidnapping-for-crypto-ransom scheme to get pre-orders up.
A preview of the world where every minor celebrity and influencer sees the logic in "flooding the zone with shit."
The new collection of Toxic Avenger is out today--Love and Blight features five genre stories where Toxie takes on depopulation cults, genocidal robots, mutant incels, and pollution aliens.
If you missed the single issues, grab this sucker now.
I create an interstitial page for each Toxic Avenger comic in our Washington arc. Presidential memos, top secret documents, Executive Orders, pending legislation. They fill in key details to the story, so Fred can do a double page spread with a head being smashed or, often, melted.
Drawing Toxie with @mattbors.bsky.social and @ahoycomicmags.bsky.social was the best!
I'm so proud of this incredible little comic we came up with
I thank this writer for discussing matters of historical importance, like @paulchadwick.bsky.social's 150 panel page from Concrete.

Billy Corgan is correct: the CIA intervened to end rock in the mid 90s. This was due to the Goo Goo Dolls playing at the MK Ultra offices. They mega-dosed test subjects DMX and Eminem as a result—and we thank them!
Are you locked in now?
... and @grimwilkins.bsky.social, who I'd been wanting to collaborate with for years. Basically a dream lineup.
I wrote 'em, but the art alone makes it worth grabbing.
Featuring five takes on Toxie from the crazed talents of @deadredfred.bsky.social, @sobreiro.bsky.social, @tristanwright.bsky.social, @ericafails.bsky.social

Thank you tim
One thing I could do on twitter on any given day was search "bors before hoes" and find a bounty to retweet into my feed. Here I find nothing... I do mourn what has been lost.
Read some Toxie for FREE!
Alberta is going deep on book banning hysteria. Pulled a bunch of graphic novels out of their school libraries including a Nib anthology! www.cbc.ca/news/canada/...
conducting my own research
Oh, understandable. Yeah, there should be digital.
Dropping next week: Love and Blight, collecting Toxic Avenger Comics #1-5 where we put Toxie through a genre gauntlet of horror, crime, romance, sci-fi, and fantasy stories.
Featuring the art of Fred Harper, Felipe Sobreiro, Tristan Wright, Erica Henderson, and Grim Wilkins.
Sending her my best wishes!
Humanity’s last great achievement was the Page-a-Day Far Side Calendar.
A comic from 2017, which I promise seemed more original at the time, though I might have once imagined it wouldn't be as relevant for quite this long. One of among maybe three or four wordless one panel comics I made in 18 years of political cartooning.
"mutant mayhem, political satire, and gloriously grotesque visuals.” <--many are calling it the Bors Promise.
Demon Run #1 and 2 are both available for preorder now at youngillustrations.com !!
Each issue is $10, filled with 32 pages of action, fun, humor, and demons.
I had an amazing time making this comic, and I couldn't be prouder of the story I've crafted. I hope you'll join in 😊
We see your valiant attempts to save your family money--and we honor it!
lol I witnessed multiple high school fights between bros pop off because of this flick
For sure. My friend circle was obsessed with the movie. But he still creates an angry-man-cult through his alternate personality over a girl. Not a good roadmap. Real struggle for people because Tyler Durden *made some good points*
I also had to punch a friend in the face at a party who insisted he needed it to FEEL SOMETHING and I agreed on the grounds this was just a one-and-done punch thing. There was a lot of this happening between 17 year old boys at the time!
