I’m disturbed by the lack of decisive leadership from @POTUS. @SECDEF Pete Hegseth shared classified texts in an unsecured channel, and Hegseth lied about it until the truth came out. This is now indisputable. Integrity starts at the top. #Leadership

VOTE FOR ALL WHO CHOOSE COUNTRY OVER PARTY
Support public servants who swear their oath to our constitution. Nobody’s perfect, but we must start to extend trust to officials who sometimes don’t perfectly align with our beliefs. Don't allow perfect to be the enemy of the good.

Engage in conversations with friends, family, & community members to share knowledge about key issues.
Be conscious of messages. If it’s not stated at a level that an 8th grader can understand, I’m probably assuming & lacking sensitivity, so I need to rethink what I’m sharing.

Be conscious of what we “skeet”
I am guilty of “snarky” posts about MAGA and must do a better job of sharing specific and factual information.
Again, the person who feels hurt has as much power in the voting booth as any one of us.

Our actions cause others' actions/reactions. The one person who feels insulted or spoken down to has as much power in the voting booth as any one of us. The next four years will be a battle for hearts and minds.

Many of us are struggling to understand what needs to happen next in this post-election period. There’s so much we don’t have control over. For those who believe, Democracy will remain my North Star so I’ve been listening, reading, and thinking about how I can do my part.
