They released numbers once & shut it down bc humanities were producing huge $ for uni & engineers, business and scientists were losing $

I don’t even really think this is fair. Iraq was heavily debated publicly, and there was a plan. It was a stupid and delusional plan based on unrealistic assumptions, but it was known publicly and voted on by Congress.

There was no public debate or Congressional authorization in this instance.

I know that everyone here hates the “Donald Trump started a war and jacked up your gas prices” messaging but “Donald Trump started a war and jacked up your gas prices” is likely the single thing about this nightmare that will most affect the day to day lives of a lot of people in the US
