Dragging anyone through the proverbial mud, there was enough of that in the community I left, and I'm not just talking about the instances of me being dragged... It was kinda a shitty community now as I look as an outsider very toxic

Yeah, I think I have been acknowledging the mistakes I made slowly... it's just a really painful road, I don't post this seeking sympathy, thank you for your honesty, truly.

If you've made it through this congrats you've now discovered why I've felt like an absolutely garbage person for the past year and a few months. That being said it should be acknowledged that the goalposts were moved on me quite a few times, and they knew I was extremely limited income

And a month of not talking to them because I felt hurt, they reached out first, I agreed that I'd messed up, I sent the items the next day, then I get banned from a big discord server for failing to live up to my end of the bargain between us, I get nasty messages from former friends

Because I haven't been able to pay them back for the cost of the art, and I haven't been able to pay them for the trade, which wasn't our original agreement but whatever, and I haven't sent the damn items, I finally get to it in January after another month of being sick, and a month

My cat passes and I have a mental breakdown, all the while they're talking about me behind my back to anyone who listens while saying it's no worries to my face. Then December comes I find out about the gossip, a mutual implores me to talk to them and apologize,

Then they wants my half of the money, except I lost my job due to my seizures and I can't get another one because shit econ and shit working ability, so no income, they also wants the product sent to them. That takes 4 months because I get sick, my whole family gets COVID, my dog dies

Especially sending the money to me to be sent over to the manufacturer that was just? Dumb? I wasn't the one who came up with that either I don't know how we got to it being that way honestly. So the manufacturer sends the stuff to me

Cost of the thing they were trading with me. The third mistake was having the art shipped over to me instead of them, and for some reason having me be a liaison between them and the manufacturer the entire time, why did I have to manage the money and the social media, and the shipping stuff?

My intentions to sell it and that it was on the market, and they didn't bother to tell me at any point about how I'd apparently promised it to them, then they were flippant about what I was planning on trading them, items that I had made myself that I had priced at a lower value to equal the

Then came me asking them if it would be possible to do a trade of items, that was the second mistake, because they acted really excited about what I thought we were going to trade for only to have the rug pulled out from under me and told no, you promised something else, which I had told this person

I was mocked and ridiculed by a few people when I posted, mostly vague posting but also on an order form we had I got an incredibly nasty response about how I should quit the business because I was lacking polish and presentation, mind you I wasn't the one who'd produced the photos or the prototypes

For some reason I was the de facto spokesperson, they didn't front anything, didn't update their Instagram when I tagged them in stuff, didn't post their own stories, nada nothing, sent me photos to post though of the wip pieces, which is what we ended up needing to try to use to sell the idea

Anyway I was working at the time, I had a job it paid enough for me to pay them back for the upfront costs of getting some artwork we both worked on together properly finished, we did about 50/50 of a type of sculpture based on a sculpt I initially started, so my base.

And that sort of gossip could blacklist folks. Anyhow, I ended up working in partnership with another artist, who was at this point a former friend, I think, idk anymore if we were really even friends ever. Mistake one was probably not having a written contract on both our ends for what we were doin

So a while ago, couple of years ago, I got into a niche hobby on the artist side of things, I got bullied relentlessly by certain folks, I kinda just ignored them, I didn't really care except when they'd come into my dms or claim I was copying other people and spreading that gossip around
