I wish our roads were safer for cycling. I'm an avid cyclist and would certainly consider purchasing an e-bike for short commutes but I pretty much gave up road cycling due to the lack of competent drivers. I spend my time riding in the woods now, which feels much safer than being on Vermont roads.

I agree. I get my fill of daily nightmare news from our community radio station. I am trying to tailor my feed here to avoid that.

Have you checked out Glass Eye by Dragonfly Software? It's a drawing program specifically for for stained glass designs. I have been using it for years now and love it for making patterns.

Love Bike Talk! I get to hear your show on WGDR, WGDH, Central Vermont Community Radio on Saturday mornings. Even though I currently spend most of my time riding in the woods, it does my heart good hearing about all of the bike advocates out there. It gives me hope for humanity.

Stained glass raven with full moon

The copper overlay that I use on this piece creates an cool effect against the iridescent moon.

Not sure going back is the answer, but an abrupt turn is in order for sure. We are certainly on the wrong path.
