He looks down at the mess he made, very confused as he says "I-I must've zoned out I don't know why I-..." he trails off before groaning and covering his face with his hand. He slowly pulls it down in, expressing dismay over what just happened. "Mike, could you do me a favor and clean this up for me?" He points back to the mess with his thumb

"I should get going...thanks Mike! I'll see you around!" Tenna says as he walks off, leaving Pluey to just stand there in silence for a moment. Before expressing his own confusion with a small "?!"

Pluey waves a hand infront of Tenna's face, but there's no response. Ever as he tugs at his sleeve and shouts. Pluey starts to panic from the lack of response (aside from the static), exclaiming a "D:"

Pluey runs off to go get help, but right when he goes another click is heard, and the garbles noise stops. Pluey turns and sees Tenna standing still for a moment. Then, he lifts his head and says "What.."

We see Tenna's screen is displaying his face again, he stares up at nothing while uttering "What was...I..saying?-" he looks down confused, it quickly turns into shock when he notices the spill he made with the coffee, he exclaims "Oh shoot! What a mess!" Pluey in the background is seen returning to Tenna, who puts down the cup and pitcher as he stammers "I-I'm sorry, I don't know what happened."

Tenna and pluey (wearing the cat mike costume) enter a room as Tenna cheerfuly says "Aah another honest days work! I could go for some coffee- you want some coffee, Mike?" Pluey accepts the offer with a ":D" "Alright ill get you a cup!" Tenna continues talking as he grabs two cups from a cupboard "Hey you know, earlier today I noticed one of the spotlights stopped working. We should make sure to get it replaced before the next show! And now that I think about it, we should do one last sound check just in case. And then revise the scripts for later this week. And then I should check today's revenues- haha yep! There's still much left to do!" he places the cups on a counter, pluey walks up a stepping stool to reach the top of the counter, he is holding a carton of milk.

Pluey pours some milk in his cup, afterwards Tenna pours some coffee as he talks "It's a lot of work, but it helps keep the show running smoothly. And thats what we want! Hahaha!" His smile slowly falls as he laughter dies down "Haha...hah.... yeah.....its what...we want.." He keeps looking up as he silently thinks to himself. He looks back down as he speaks up "You know Mike...what you asked me the other day, has got me thinking..."

"If....if this is what I want." he hold out his left hand, it's shaking. He balls it into a fist before holding it in his right hand "To be honest... We cut to a profile view, and see a poster behind him, of when he was wearing his red suit and was happy. "These days, it feels harder and harder for me to know what I want." "But..." he turns away to grab the pitcher of coffee and his cup "Susie told me, that I don't have to put up with being thrown away. And I believe her."

Tenna pours his coffee as he says "And so, between Spamton's show, and me being placed backstage. I think-" Pluey was licking his cup of coffee like a cat. A click sound was heard as Tenna suddenly stopped speaking, only garbled noise is heard. Pluey turns, now seeing Tenna still pouring his cup. It overflows and starts spilling onto his hand, but he continues pouring. Pluey gets closer, and sees that Tenna's screen is only displaying static.

Tenna looks at his shoulders, which show the damage of having his arms cut off, he nervously says "Oh jeez....uh.. a-arms..?" He looks back to the fun gang, awkwardly smiling as he says "Who-who needs arms...?" Tenna then proudly poses by kicking up a leg in the air while shouting "With legs like these?!" Susie cheers for him "Yeaah Tenna! They can't get you down that easily!" Ralsei says "The prophecy didn't say anything about this" The soul sits on Kris' head as they point at Tenna and say "Yooo he said the thing!!" The Knight is seen charging up their second hit

we cut to after One Knight Battle Later. Tenna is on the floor now without legs as well. He sweats a bit as he nervously laughs and says "Ah..haha! 'Tis but a scratch!" He looks up as he asks "Get it? Like from the movie? Monty Python and the Holy Grail...?" We cut to Susie and Kris, Susie says "There's a movie about a python named Monty?" and Kris says "I never finished that movie. I fell asleep like halfway through." Tenna has a sort of grimacing smile at the fact that neither of them got his reference. He then calmly smiles as he simply says "Please repair me."

Tenna has his arms in the air as he hapily states "How wonderful the family's all together again!! Now you all can finally-" The world becomes black as Tenna's arms are cut off

Susie in shock shouts "Tenna!" Ralsei sadly looks away, Kris frowns at the sight. We see Tenna's screen went black as looks as though he is slowly falling back

Then Tenna is just calmly standing there as his face appears again. His arms are on the floor, the knight is poorly drawn in the background, having just struck him, and the fun gang are in the foreground looking at him.

"Oh." Was all Spamton said as he looked to the floor. "I actually...stopped drinking tea all together, around that same time.." Spamton circles a finger around the rim of his cup, his text slowly turning into normal small text as he speaks. "Oh yeah?" Tenna asks We see Spamton's reflection in his drink, he looks solemn as he responds "Yeah...I just realized it right now.. this is my first cup in years." "Why's that?" "Well I- Its...its just..." Spamtons text becomes capital again as he says "It's too sweet!" while handing his cup over to Tenna. He walks away, finishing his response with "I think I'll just stick to [freshly brewed coffee]!"

Tenna looks down at the drink in his hand for a moment before taking a sip, he says "It tastes bitter to me.." the background fades into a flashback of the past, of him and Spamton in their big shot era, happily chatting and enjoying tea together

Tenna is holding the door open for Spamton as he walks in with his hands behind his head. Tenna says "Hey you were great out there!" Spamton responds "Of course I was! I could do this in my slee-" he chokes and goes into a small coughing fit Tenna walks away as he asks "Are you okay?" "Yeah yeah, my [voicebox] is just sore after all the [scream and shout]ing" Tenna hands him a cup of tea "Here" Spamton takes it as he thanks him. He calmly takes a sip, his eyes lighten up as he realizes something, he says "This is... [Chamomile tea] with [Honey I'm-]?" "Yeah- sorry, did you want something else?" "No no, I was just [click here for a surprise!]"

"You had this ready?" Tenna grabs the tea box and talks as he puts it away "Of course, I figured you'd need it." Spamton tilts his head and smiles as he fondly down at his drink "Wow...that takes me back.." He goes to stand next to where Tenna is, near the kitchen counters "Do you still [maked] yourself these after shows?" "Hmm, sometimes! But I switched to Green Tea awhile ago, I don't like how Chamomile tastes anymore." Spamton looks amusingly surprised "What? You don't [like and-] how it tastes!?" he gestures to the drink "You're the one who made me get into this herbal [censored]"

Tenna, looking equally amused, gestures at Spamton as he says "Yeah because out of the two of us, I was the only one who noticed caffeine gives you the jitters!" "Come on it wasn't that bad!" "Yes it was! You were shaking so much you kept dropping your cue cards!" Tenna shakes his hands as an example "That was one time!- Haha!" Spamton puts a hand on his head as he laughs He shuts his eyes tight and blushes as he continues to heartily laugh, hearts can be faintly seen in the background. The laughter dies down, as Spamton looks surprised at how much he was enjoying himself. He looks at the floor, expression quickly becoming cold as he coughs. He turns away from Tenna as he asks "Well...what [change d]? When did you stop liking it?" Tenna looks up and brings a hand to his chin as he thinks "I don't know, I guess.." He looks back down "...After you left."

We see Tenna's hand holding Spamton and taking him to a bed. Spamton is saying "Tenna come on, you're making a big deal outta nothing! I literally don't need to sleep anymore. I can't even if I tried-" Tenna lets go of Spamton, dropping him on the bed and Spamton falls asleep immediately with a loud snore later Spamton wakes up, his eyes don't look strained and he doesn't have eyebags anymore, to even his own surprise he says "Oh, my eyes don't sting anymore." in the top right corner Spamton has his knees close to his chest and his hands covering his face, save for one eye, which looks very strained. He looks stressed, and is sweating, as darkness surrounds him all over. In the bottom right corner, we see Spamton, head buried in his arm on a table, his other hand holds a lit cigarette. someone calls out to him "Spamton-" and spamton's demeanor immediately changes, as he closes his eyes to hide how tired they are, and he puts on a cute smile while saying very sweetly "Yes?" He then relaxes and opens his eyes, and even his smile relaxes into a less appealing one as he says "Oh, hey Tenna."

The following are a compilation of drawing of Defernull Spamton and Tenna. On the left is a drawing of Tenna casually standing there with a hand behind his back, while he uses the other to squeeze Spamton like a stress ball. On the right, we see Tenna is reading something on a piece of paper, while Spamton sits on his shoulder saying "Meow! Meow! Meow!" repeatedly. Tenna then says "Meow" back, much to Spamton's delight. The soul is shaped as a mouse, they look up as they heard Noelle off screen say "Let's go fix the breaker" the soul runs off as they say "Guess that means I better go!" when they get near the Christmas tree, it flings them and an angel doll away the soul splats on the ground, then the angel doll lands ontop of them, making them go "Oh!" Susie offscreen says "Oops... The tree..." We then see a close up of Susie's shoe as she walks past, Noelle following behind her says "Umm, sorry, Dad didn't clean the basement this year...Anyways the breaker's down here somewhere." Susie and Noelle hold flashlights as they look around the room, unknowingly very close to the soul We see the soul inside the doll, they look up and say "Hm, I can still move... Guess I'll just leave while they're busy with that." They strain as they move with the doll "Ough...It's so heavvyy..." unknowingly getting closer to Noelle's hoove

Noelle yells when the soul bumps into her hoove. She looks down and says "Oh my gosh this just brushed against my leg!" we zoom out and see Susie and Noelle pointing their flashlights at the angel doll, Susie says "What the hell is that!?" We cut to the soul, seeing them being surprised and nervously sweating from being noticed. they utter "Uh..." Noelle off screen explains "It's.. It's an.. angel doll-" The soul tries to carefully move forward, saying to themself "Maybe I can just.." this movement scares Susie and Noelle, they yell as they toss up their flashlights. The soul flinches at this reaction, saying a small "...Oops." As the two run off, Susie kicks back the soul, making them go "ack-" as they land on the ground again they say "Good thing I can't actually feel any of this." The soul sits up, looking to where they ran as they say "Wait- Oh no, did I scare them off?"

We see Ssuie and Noelle coming back, carefully walking toward the soul with their own items in hand. Noelle having cookie pan, and Susie having a giant candy cane. Susie says "Okay, ready to kill. I got a cane...You.." The soul panics and rapidly waves their hands as they shout "WAIT SUSIE NO. YOU KNOW ME- OKAY WELL I GUESS NOT REALLY- BIT I SWEAR WE'RE CHILL!!!" Susie, not able to hear the soul, continues talking "...You're gonna beat it to death with a cookie pan?" Noelle lowers the pan as she says "N-no! No, I'm just going to..."

Noelle slowly approaches the soul She quickly gets the soul onto the cookie pan and place a hand over the angel doll to hold them there. This surprised the soul, making them go "Oh!" She turns around as Susie approaches her "Huh? Dude, you got guts!" Noelle explains "There's probably just like...A mouse underneath it, right? Its... nothing to be afraid of." We get a close up of the soul, indeed still looking like a mouse, as they calmly listened to what she had to say. They then burst into tears, their eyes shining big and bright as they shout "Noeeelle!! Noelle- Noelle thank yooou! You're so brave! You really aren't afraid of mice anymore- I'm so proud of youu!!"

"Here we have our new [bumper stickers]!" we see a close up of Spamton holding the bumper sticker. The sticker has Spamton holding a steering wheel with one hand, and leaning his free arm out the window of the car. Text around it says "Keep honking, it's [Top Ten Music] to my ears!" Spamton continues talking "You can stick them on your [cungadero] or-" He brings up a hand to the side of his mouth as he cheekily says "Over your husband's [pie hole]" audience laughter ensues Spamton points to someone off screen as he shouts "She knows what I'm talking about!" we zoom out and see the desk hes standing behind, it has a stack of bumper stickers at his side, and a green rotary phone. In big letters on the front of the desk is "S.V.N." under them are the words "Spamton Value Network"

We zoom out, and see Tenna looking on from behind the curtains, as Spamton happily continues his segment. We see a more clearly that he is standing backstage, there is a sign on the wall that points to where the actual stage is. Jongler is next to him, also looking on at the performance, currently dressed as Mike. They scratch their head as they speak up and say "Wow he's doin' great crowd work." Tenna smiles as he responds "Haha yeah! He's a natural. Heck it's only our 5th broadcast and the views have been through the roof, not to mention the sales! The show can only get better from here!" "Say, boss." "Yeah Mike?" Tenna looks at Jongler "Don'tcha miss being out there, on da stage?" "I can't be out there, I'm supposed to help manage things back here!" he says with a bit of a confused frown but still smiling

"Well... yea sure but... is dat what you want?" Jongler says with emphasis on the 'you' as they gesture at Tenna Tenna silently stares back at them, at a loss for words. He's dropped his smile and his eyebrows are raised as he now expresses shock, like he never expected this question. Darkness surrounds him, even partly obscuring him from behind. There is only a faint cyan light shining infront of him, which is where the audience laughter and noises on stage is faintly heard. It even seems like its glimmering as debris flys in from that direction. Tenna turns away to look back to the stage, the darkness goes away and we see the flowing of the curtains beside him, but the cyan glow still remains infront of him. He finally answers "...Of course it is, Mike."

He smiles again as he says "Besides look at him, he's doing great out there all by himself. I'm happy for him." Spamton notices Tenna looking at him, he smiles and waves at him as a faint glow and a halo of stars surrounds him. Tenna thinks to himself "I am..." Tenna happily waves back. Then he clenches his hand. He slightly frowns and his smile strains as he finishes his thought "...right...?" as the world darkens around him again

When we look back to Ralsei, we see the room behind him, which leads to the staircases, has a pair of pink and yellow glasses watching from the shadows. Just when he turns and noticed something, the mysterious watcher runs away up the stairs. Ralsei quietly follows after, thinking to himself "I think i heard someone go through here." He peeks over a wall "And down there..." He sees Spamton infront of Tenna's room, the door is wide open as Tenna seems to be welcoming him inside "Its Spamton. Looks like he just came to visit Tenna." The door closes after Spamton goes inside, Ralsei continues thinking "But why did he sneak away just now?" We see Ralsei looks concerned as he has the final thought "Wait...was he eavesdropping on us...?"

Susie frowns as she repeats a part of what he said " 'Our' "? Kris moves ahead of her. She says "Kris?" as she wonders what they're up to We zoom out and see Kris, now a bit far from the group, trying to call out to Tenna and get his attention. The Deltarune narrator says "You try to talk to Tenna" We only see his back as the narrator says "He just keeps walking as if he didn't hear you." Kris doesn't continue following, they just stand there, clenching their fist and frowning. Susie, also frowning, says "Man...what the hell was that about?" Ralsei speaks up "I think I might know."

Susie looks to Ralsei in shock "Really wait-" She grabs him and shakes him as she yells "Ralsei is this a prophecy thing!?" an imagination of the prophecy shows up that says "The Lord of Screens will change his mind for some reason" Ralsei looks back at Susie, very nervous and suprised at this reaction as he tries to explain "Um, no- the prophecy doesn't say anything about this. But uh, remember that puppet we fought in Queen's basement? It seems he and Mr. Tenna started collaborating together." Susie calms down and lets go of him as she thinks for a moment "Puppet? Wait...you mean..?" Susie turns to Kris and shouts in realization "Oh shit that's why your dealmakers are gone Kris!" we see a flashback to 10 minutes ago, when Susie asked them "Yo where the hell are your dealmakers?" Kris just shrugs Ralsei says "Apparently his name Spamton."

"Yes, he and Tenna approached me about a new show they were making for Castle Town!" As Ralsei explains, we see a flashback of Tenna and Spamton waving as they approach Ralsei "I ah..didn't except it to involve so much...salesmanship. But it sounded fun! So I approved of it, and it's been a big hit! everyone's talking about it!" Tenna holds up a poster for "Spamton Value network" as Spamton excitedly points at it Now back to the present, Susie scratches the back of her head as she looks more relaxed now "Oh, so Tenna's hosting here now? Well now it all makes sense, he just found a new audience." Ralsei responds "Actually, it's mostly Mr. Spamton hosting." Susie looks shocked again as she shouts "What?!" Ralsei nervously continues "Tenna said he wanted to take a behind the scenes role..." Susie shouts in confused anger as the other two look on "He fought us so hard just to be watched- but now he's chill with not being on screen at all?! That doesn't make sense!"

Ralsei says "It doesn't...but when I asked he insisted it's what he wanted." Susie crosses her arms as she walks to the left "This all feels too weird...Dammit- I wanna figure this out but we can't stay for long. Toriel is waiting for us at church..." A door is open, Kris and Susie move to leave, but first she points to Ralsei as she says "Ralsei, check in on him and make sure he's comfortable here, alright? We'll try and come back soon to figure this out. She gives a warm smile as she finishes with "and update us when we get back if you find out anything!" He waves them goodbye as he says "Okay, I will!" they leave and shut the door, Ralsei now stands there alone.
