Anyone going to Bsides Belfast & know if there is an after party the night after? I'm trying to determine if I get a second night of the hotel or drive back after the conference.

Aer Lingus is now charging for seat selection if you choose their cheapest fare... It's 1h 35m to fly SNN > LHR, I'm pretty sure I can deal with whatever seat they put me in 🙄

We discussed it at the most recent meetup & we're considering moving back to a weekday, either Wednesday or Thursday from 6 or 7pm as a start time the last week of the month. Let us know what would work better for you!

The Galway Christmas Market kills the public transit. So instead of €7.60 home, because they don’t plan for the rush on a Friday night…I’m going to spend €48-50 for a taxi home 😔, even 2+ hours early.

Gotta say...I'm really happy here in Ireland. It's not been 💚's and 🌹's the whole time, but I'm glad I made the move. I have my long-term residency, my job is stable, I have my driving license. Now if I could just find a house semi-near my new friends I've made that would be awesome!
