Great week with the Hypershield incubation team in San Diego!! It’s always so lovely hanging with folks you get to work with from all over the world but rarely see in person. We’re a small team doing big things!! Ready to be home with my bearded better half and doggos. 😊

Sleep deprived but happy to be headed to San Diego to catch up with the Hypershield team (and see my non HS homies attending Cisco Live!). Time for an inflight nap 😂

And, for the 900th time, I got to shock the valet when they automatically looked at Johnny for the key fob to the Mac. At least this one didn’t say something dumb, like, “he let you drive the nice car tonight, eh?”

Lovely date night/dual birthday dinner at Ocean Prime KC. Food was delightful as always, and when I asked if the dry ice from another cocktail could be applied to my espresso martini because I’m easily entertained, the server smiled and made it happen.

Today’s customer smoked brisket and chicken lunch and learn included a side of Golden Tee in their beautiful break room. 😂

Hilariously yes, I have a customer lunch tomorrow home in KC, so there is a brisket about done that has been smoking for more than 24 hours at this point. I’ll get home and pull it at 203, then into the cooler to rest overnight

I haven’t had that particular issue, but I noticed I had much better luck with a chain (I use Amazing Lash) rather than a random one off places that charge 3x more. Something about their glue seems to stand up better to my abuse.

Oh I always use a bit of a filter, just not a makeup one. And my only secret is lash extensions, Botox, and regular facials with dermaplaning 😂

I feel like I should get bonus points somehow for giving an in depth technical presentation this morning while 3 of my idiot dogs were in my office creating my least favorite sounds; 1 enthusiastically eating his own ass, 1 whining for attention, and 1 chewing on his paw. 🫠

The conference had a wrestling theme, so we went big and ridiculous with it at the party. 🤷🏻‍♀️😂 Oh, and I got to put my little 20 watt diode laser engraver to work on the title belt!! Only took it 8 hours at max power and 3 passes to get it to work 🤣🤷🏻‍♀️

The BsidesKC after party was some of the wackiest shit I’ve had the privilege to help orchestrate in some time. We just kept asking each other, ‘what did we do?’ 🤣
