Waking up to a message from my best mate, who lives in France, saying she’s on her way over to England for two weeks and will see me soon is an excellent way to start the day 😊💕

I’m glad you’re back! I’ve been wondering how you were doing. I can 100% relate. The house that has been the centre of my family for the last 45 years & my husband’s for the last 28 went under offer last week. I don’t think any of us have come to terms with it yet. We’ve only started clearing.

It’s going to be really hard, it’s got all the memories of my mum as well as my Dad and mother-in-law there. Think my kids are going to find it hard too. Life goes on though I suppose. The couple buying it have a baby so I’m glad it’s going to another family rather than being knocked down.
