so true dudeee, tlou 2 has a very "you either got it or you didnt" fanbase, and i think u should def play it if you can !! ive played it about 8 times now and i still feel exactly how i did the first time i played it 😭 its really a masterpiece of a game i would recommend to anybody

people also say "well the 'revenge is bad' narrative is pushed too much and its obvious and cringe" but like.. yeah thats the story.. revenge IS bad and bad things happen when you go out of your way to hurt someone else, thats not unrealistic and pushy, its just true. the haters are weird

ppl mainly only say bad things about the game bc they didnt want to understand it or they were just joel fans who wanted to play as him again. i think if you really play the game with an unbiased "im playing this game because i like the game not just joel" mindset theres no way you could say its bad

not to mention the incredible gameplay thats so much better and more dynamic than the first game, and the levels/bosses you go through.. its just so cool and so interesting. never a dull moment i stg

its writing and story and parallels are just so good, it justhas so much depth, every character has done bad and good things in their life and seeing how those actions affect them in good and bad ways feels so human. the relationships characters have with one another too are so well written. omgg
