This week we welcomed guests on board the German Navy’s largest ship, BERLIN, in Halifax. Her visit highlights the close partnership between 🇩🇪 & 🇨🇦 across the Atlantic and looks ahead to cooperation in Arctic waters during Exercise Nanook-Tuugaalik.

1st day of my visit to Halifax, NS. Very fruitful meetings with His Honour Lieutenant Governor Mike Savage (& Her Honour), the Mayor of Halifax Andy Fillmore and RAdm J. Kurtz & Commodore J.F. French. We agreed about the special momentum in 🇨🇦🇩🇪 relations, with many possible benefits for Nova Scotia.
