Happy Halloween to you and Neko! I think Wonton’s just going to declare himself a tabby puma and act accordingly.

Thank you! I don't shoot nearly enough photos in New York City, as I have spent decades cultivating the true New Yorker's studied indifference to others' behavior. I am considering hanging out in Central Park with a t-shirt inviting people to be shot in the park. What could possibly go wrong?

More puffins, anyone? I caught one in flight here. Puffins are not graceful fliers. They launch, it seems, using sheer determination. Imagine a penguin flapping so hard and so fast that it lifts off. Something like that. Puffins may be cute, but they have grit. #photography #Iceland #bird #puffin

"Is there a Mr. Tumnus here? Seymour Tumnus?" I don't yet love my Rollei 35AF, but I can't say exactly why. It's not as primitive as the old Nikonos nor as powerful as the Nikon Z6ii. I'm going to shoot a few more rolls before I decide whether to sell it or […]

Absolutely. That said, this horse's tendency to play to the camera became almost comical. All I could think of was Ben Stiller's character, Derek Zoolander, a model who called his trademark look "Blue Steel."

This photo of the lower Manhattan skyline from the Brooklyn Heights Promenade was taken with my forty year old Nikonos dive camera. It shows Brooklyn Bridge Park in the foreground, the East River in the middle distance, about three dozen high rise buildings on the opposite shore, and a few puffy clouds floating by above it all.
