A flock of Sanderlings search for food or stand in shallow, light blue shore water that stretches, on a scalloped diagonal, from the bottom right to the left mid-ground. A medium blue Atlantic Ocean makes up the rest of the mid-ground. On the horizon is a hazy gray and pink sky and the high and mid-rise buildings of Daytona Beach Shores and Daytona Beach bathed in pink, dawn sunlight. Greeted by a Robin standing in the rain on one of many posts surrounding our cabin in the Forest. A quick shake to remove raindrops captured the movement of the Robin.

The most delightful experience about sleeping in the forest, was being greeted by endless birds each morning. This Robin is shaking off raindrops. Not every image requires pin-sharp focus.
