No cricket today because apparently we only need 2 days to beat England now. But I have #pittsburghpenguins v Seattle on the TV and Ottawa’s #pwhl home opener on the laptop. Motorsport on deck for this afternoon.

So far today I’ve watch the Penguins play a dreadful #icehockey game, an eventful #F1Academy race and now I’ve settled in for some #AshesCricket with some #F1 qualifying up shortly. It’s a sports fan on the couch Saturday at maximum! Might have to throw in women’s hockey on replay tonight.

I’m having full on musculoskeletal shenanigans this week. Lower back spasms Monday/Tuesday then woke with a frozen neck this morning. Thankfully decided to WFH because the rest of my back decided to give up on holding me upright after lunch *sighs*

Oh fuck me, hello back spasms. This hasn’t happened in a while. Ow. They can fuck right off please. *whimpers*

Also - the Australian Women’s Ice Hockey League started it’s season this weekend. It streams on YouTube. No Canberra team, but I’ll manage . #awihl #icehockey

Feeling very lethargic this weekend - interrupted sleep. But I’ve run, done chores, had a massage, enjoyed hockey and even watched the first bit of the new Frankenstein. I love the book but might take it a bit at a time to cope with a film given how not a horror person I am.

New shirt 2. The boys did lose today but it went to a shoot out, so we came away with a point. I think they are playing far better than anyone expected. The BIG line is a delight of a surprise, the goaltending is doing well & even to my eyes the defensive game seems better than last year’s mess.
