I did! That’s why I decided to download it again. The only regret I have is a lot of the brushes I liked when I first got it years ago were deleted from the asset store by their creators so now I have to find whole new brush sets…

This aversion extends to all programs except substance painter which feels like fucking dogshit to use, right up there with zbrush for its menus and shortcuts, but it’s the best option for texturing without paid addons in blender. So just know every time I textured a mod, I was suffering.

Yeah!! I got a perpetual license for 4 on sale last year cuz I gave my 1.x license to my sibling but I only just gave it a shot the other night and I was having a blast drawing my practice cubes.

I’m the favorite spoon/fork type except for drawing programs and if it feels even a little bad I can’t touch it or I’ll scream

Procreate stabilizes too much, no matter how much I tweak the settings of both the brush and the program I can feel the delay and watch the stroke trail behind in a strange way and that drives my neurodivergent brain absolutely fucking bugnuts

Finally reinstalled CSP after ignoring it for years cuz it didn’t have a liquify tool (literally the only reason) and ooogh I forgot how much better it feels for sketching than photoshop. I don’t even know why, something about the brush engine just feels buttery, better than procreate and ps

Auuugh that sucks I’m sorry. Blender is such an amazing tool but the random crashes I sometimes get when I’m working on heavy things drive me up the wall… you can turn timed autosaves/backup saves on in the preferences I think!
