That’s incorrect. Bush II, Obama, Biden, and Trump in his first term had the authority through the AUMF passed by Congress.
Trump in this term hasn’t gotten any authorization for Venezuela or Iran.

The split is between those who care about the law, rights, and the constitution, and those who care only about imposing their will regardless.

Trump IS involved in various nefarious activities, including selling his crypto to foreign governments while in office. That’s established fact, just like his mishandling of classified documents.
