I am hearing that RFK Jr.โ€™s minions are going to go after HPV vaccines. Iโ€™ve got problems with these people and now youโ€™re going to hear about them, first from a personal perspective and then from a professional one.

It all boils down to this: WE HAVE A SAFE VACCINE THAT PREVENTS CANCER.

Toronto, too. Streetcar from the Leafsโ€™ Scotiabank Arena to the Marliesโ€™ Coca-Cola Coliseum.

We have that in Montreal. You can take the Metro from the AHL rink in Laval to the Bell Centre in downtown Montreal - and don't even need to switch lines.

I find it so fascinating that you can take public transit between the AAA and the MLB stadiums. When a player gets called up to the bigs, they could just hop on the light rail. Does that make call ups less exciting?

I am still annoyed that this only includes PhDs - not only is it insulting to scientists who donโ€™t have PhDs, it fails to capture the extent of the damage!

Dislocations of trained workers in sciences matter a lot too. Itโ€™s not as if labs and other employers can just magically conjure up workers to run it, Zoom canโ€™t do that yet.

Further, a geographic breakdown would help reveal to key folks like Sen Britt (R-AL) just how much of a hit their state took

General Natural Resources Management and Biological Sciences Series 0401 Welcome to opm.gov

Another way to parse this would have been to look by OPM occupational series, since those have an education component.

For example, I was an 0401, and you can look at the category 0400 - 0499 - Biological Sciences more generally: www.opm.gov/policy-data-...

The ass kissing of Trump by execs of Apple and Amazon and others coupled with ongoing silence from many in the tech and biotech and science areas about ICE and related evil activities is extremely disappointing.

Which does not mean backing off, but pushing harder.

All these people need to go to prison, at the least. We learned from Jan 6 that we need to jail everyone right up to the top, or they just come back after being pardoned by the worst president in American history.

Two cities under siege Remarkably similar scenes from Boston and Minneapolis, 260 years apart, show a federal government betraying its founding principles.

New at The Watch:

I dug into archival witness accounts of the British siege of Boston prior to the American Revolution.

They are remarkably similar to what we're seeing in Minneapolis.

The one on the left would live with you all summer while dating your best friend, then leave when the weather gets cold, borrowing money for the train ticket. But he'd paint you. The one on the right would pay you a bit of attention and you'd spend years trying to get another scrap.

Herman Yau, the Sunnyvale-based CEO of a facial-recognition smart door-lock startup, has taken the opposite approach. Souhan: What good are sports in times like these? Local owners should be making a statement. Better yet, they should be taking action.

"Shut it all down until itโ€™s safe for every Minnesotan to drive to a sports venue without being rammed, beaten, abducted or killed."
