Ok but what if it didn't? That would be disheartening, but still true. I hope the majority would come out in support of the letter, but if they weren't asked then implying that it reflects the majority view of the group is dishonest when the presidents don't actually know that it does. Start by advocating for ranked choice or any kind of more intelligent voting system than the one we have now. Starting at the local level, and building from there. I'm afraid it's already too late, but it's the only way for third parties to ever become viable.

Received a letter from POTUS today purporting to remove me as Commissioner and Chair of the FEC. There's a legal way to replace FEC commissioners-this isn't it. I've been so fortunate to serve the American people and stir up some good trouble along the way. That's not changing anytime soon.

Do you have any recommendations on ways to both compress and do incremental backups? I have over a TB in there.
So you're saying I should be able to just do `rsync -a /mnt/g /mnt/usbdrive`? I either tried that ages ago and it consistently failed mid-operation, or I have been way overcomplicating this. A quick test with a small directory worked, so here's hoping.
Windows + WSL, so I can also use Linux based solutions. And totally understood about Google not being a real backup. I want to have a local, physical backup of it for that reason.
Is there a good way to do incremental backups off of a Google drive, plus Google photos? I have a USB with a giant dump of everything from a while ago, but it was a pain and took forever, so I'm still looking for a quick regular update mechanism. Thanks!!
