As a producer and mixing / mastering engineer it's something that irritates the hell out of me.

How handy would it be if there was a standard that ads, movies and shows had to adhere to so that it works on a slider basis like a lot of games does where you can turn down effects, music or dynamics?

Whenever friends introduce me to new people and hear I'm a DJ they always tend to ask if I would do their wedding...I'm going to start saying yes and ruin their special day.
