grades 1-8 of Catholic school here and mass each day was a class (but like only 35 minutes). Same, it was ALL about compassion, empathy and charity - like Jesus. It shaped my moral compass. I was also shocked about these bizarro christians.

8 years of Catholic school in Pittsburgh PA, drummed Jesus‘s message of empathy into my head at a minimum of 10 times a day from the nuns and Priest, all well providing and excellent education. Pope Leo and Francis rock!

I cant emphasis enough how this was drummed into my head during 8 years of Catholic School in Pittsburgh, PA. It really shaped my moral compass. When we moved to East Texas when I was in 8th grade, the Catholic Church we began attending did not touch on this aspect often If at all. I quit going.
