I really hate the sound of the audience tapes they've officially released from the 1975 tour.
It could be one of the great live albums ever, if there was only a recording that didn't have that arena rock thud throughout.

Downtown Fresno. Full name: The Old Town Saloon and Dining Emporium.
Fresno had just been gifted with a The Dwight D. Eisenhower Memorial Freeway, which was immediately dubbed the "Ikeway" and I did many a promo with the tagline of "Down the Ikeway at the Old Town"

I got my fake ID to see them in play, and later, they played our college station's first anniversary show.

Theoretically, it can go on and on!
All I need to do is live forever!
Two things after ZZ Top:
1) I didn't "go deep" until The Clash, so I need to come back around with As and Bs (Aerosmith, Bob Marley, Beatles,, etc) and do them right.
2) Artists who released music I love after I got past them in the alphabet (Beths, Car Seat Headrest, etc)
It's OK to poke fun: I know how low-stakes and borderline silly it is. Even as it helps keep me personally sane. Somewhat sane.
That XKCD strip is (of course) right on: I know there are books, films, writers, shows and songs I'll never experience but I'd love if I did.
"Major Combat Operations!
"Uh huhh!"
"What is it good for?"
"Absolutely nothin!"

As much as I can plan things: part of the fun is the flexibility within the framework.
So that's how we're at The Who some 3200 songs in!
I've broken this occasionally -- the deaths of Prince, Tom Petty and Eddie Van Halen demanded some kind of instant response, and I'll do Christmas songs at the holidays -- but by and large, I've stuck with this framework, which allows me to read about upcoming artists in advance and plan things.

This is a good question, and so deserves a sincere answer.
The original conception of "Certain Songs" in 2014 was write about my very very favorite songs (roughly) alphabetical by artist -- and chronological within an artist -- as ordered by (but not beholden to) an iTunes playlist.
Could be one of those Dorian Gray deals where Cosby's evilness spread through the entire photo.
