When EA shut down the servers just prior to Re-Reckoning being announced, I ended up losing all of my game data somehow. I was so pissed starting up the game and seeing that none of my saves were there.

It should auto save every time there's a loading screen, you enter a new area, you complete a quest, etc

The game definitely does auto save. My guess would be that your save file got corrupted or something
