You Donโt Need More Ideas. You Need a Better Question
What Michelangelo, a Nobel Laureate, and a PhD Meltdown Taught Me about Research Questions
You donโt need more ideas.
You need a better question.

Looking forward to reading this. Despite being involved in many RCTs, there is always this lingering feeling that the (parts of) interventions we randomize and evaluate aren't the most impactful part of a program as it often excludes activities taking place at the institutional and aggregate level.

๐จ In the "The Gendered Costs of Stigma", we explore the gendered responses of survivors to sexual violence in the DRC, Liberia, and Sri Lanka. The use of #list_experiments shows that respondents need anonymity for sensitive questions in surveys.
