We don’t get to see many in-flight shots of meadowlarks. Really nice set!
Horned Lark, Snow Bunting, and Lapland Longspur. I think I missed the opportunity to see these 3 together here in Southeastern Michigan now that the weather is warming up.
They are an introduced species on Hawaiian islands like Kauai. I vividly recall seeing them back in 2013 but only got a low res iPhone image.
I know giving up hope is the last thing we should do, but it’s hard. 😭🪶
My favorite parrot species are located in the places with the most loss.
