We donβt get to see many in-flight shots of meadowlarks. Really nice set!
Horned Lark, Snow Bunting, and Lapland Longspur. I think I missed the opportunity to see these 3 together here in Southeastern Michigan now that the weather is warming up.
They are an introduced species on Hawaiian islands like Kauai. I vividly recall seeing them back in 2013 but only got a low res iPhone image.
I know giving up hope is the last thing we should do, but itβs hard. ππͺΆ

This is a great image! Really crisp. Well done!

Incredible shots. I know next to nothing about these eagles. What kind of prey are they after?

Nice shot. This bird is always a superstar.
Really nice images of all 4 birds: composition, resolution, color are all great. Thanks for sharing.
Iβm thinking sparrow too. Maybe one of the Savannah Sparrow variants?

Wow, π€― had no idea that Eagles rotated their eggs like that!
Very nice shot. These warblers look great regardless of season.
Very cool shot, thanks for sharing!

The Endangered Species Act (ESA) has been one of the most effective conservation laws to prevent extinctions.
99% of species listed under the ESA have been saved from extinction.

Very nice shot Steve. I like the warm tones that you captured.
Great shot, thanks for sharing. The really enjoy seeing these endemic species that do not migrate up here to Michigan.
Wow, spectacular shot!
