The new Sun Ra doc is awesome (and I’d say that even if I weren’t in it). It won’t be on PBS until 2026, so I recommend the virtual screener being offered this weekend via the BlackStar Film Festival. Here's a quick piece I wrote for WRTI, based on conversation with director Christine Turner.

Dr. Pasulka’s archival work uncovered ancient documents detailing aerial phenomena witnessed by Europeans. These accounts, often interpreted through a religious lens, described “flying houses,” “little beings about three feet tall and shiny.”

Fenway Park is an iconic American institution, and it’s the workers there that make every Red Sox game special.

The team is extremely profitable. They should treat their employees with respect, pay them decent wages and negotiate a fair contract with the union.

I don't remember being born or nothing like that. I probably was here all along somewhere, passing through sometimes, among the earthlings to see what they were doing, to learn more about them, and you know, you have to learn how to handle the situation.
