Today is the Day of Dignity and Freedom in Ukraine.

Two words russia doesn’t know.
Two words russia wants to take from us.

Dignity.
Freedom.

I’ve just listened to Zelenskyy’s address to the Ukrainian people.
My opinion?

This man knows what is right.
Ukraine is under enormous pressure from the current US administration.
Zelenskyy made it clear: he wants a decent peace. We all do.

Decent peace is not capitulation.

I can’t speak for others,
but the current situation in Ukraine (severe attacks, almost no power)
won’t break me or make me accept
any ridiculous ‘peace’ (capitulation) deal.

The Dormition Cathedral of Kyiv Pechersk Lavra was built in the 1070s.
It was blown up in 1941 – some say by the retreating soviets, others by the nazi occupiers.

Reconstruction began in 1998 in Ukrainian Baroque style, and the cathedral reopened in 2000
