I think you have this right. Trump is trying to start a war with Venezuela. I don’t know why, but the fact that he hasn’t made his justifications clear to We The People or to our Congress can only mean it’s not in our best interest.

I feel you. My dad was in the Navy reserves for 30 years. He was a chaplain. I don’t understand how he doesn’t see Trump as antithetical to everything he valued.

We’re still protesting every Monday here in Allentown, PA. Today was especially fun because our teenagers had the day off from school and could join us. It gives me hope to see the kids get involved, especially when they wear a banana suit!

I’m not ok. There are so many reasons why, but at this point I can no longer maintain relationships with people who support Trump. I just find it unforgivable. I’m a little mad at myself for not being a big enough person to put out political opinions aside, but I can’t.

I agree that we need accountability, but I can’t imagine my MAGA family members ever seeing it as anything other than retribution for political differences. If we can’t find our way back to a shared reality I don’t think accountability will work.

I will continue to maintain my baseline level of enragement. How long before we can impeach?

I haven’t been able to shop at Home Depot or Target since the whole DEI thing. I stopped being able to shop at Walmart, Hobby Lobby, and Chik-fil-A years ago and still can’t go there. It’s not a boycott for me. Just a feeling of aversion I can’t ignore. I’m afraid HD has a permanent loss with me.

You get it! Not only is Trump a psychopath loyal only to himself, he’s not a particularly smart one. Several people mentioned that he just channels the last person he was in the room with before a conference. So whatever Mamdani said before that conference, those were Trump’s ideas.

Democrats, for all their faults, are doing their best to build a better America for all Americans. Republicans are doing their best to weaken Americans so the billionaires can take even more advantage from us. It’s not about who is making fewer mistakes, it’s about the end goals.

My parents were certainly around in the 70s and those are exactly the people we need to wake up and realize Trump will never be the savior FOX News promised he would be.
