What price controls? This is not law, but rather a fairy dust executive order. It only applies to enrollees in Medicare Advantage, which is just half of all seniors on Medicare. The tariffs on prescription drugs, combined with the decimated funding for medical research, makes this ridiculous.

Remember when video was all the proof you needed? The GOP era says don’t believe your eyes.

I bought toilet rails for my elderly mother. Nephew assembled, according to pamphlet. Mom fell off. Note that we did not buy a Toyota Ram. Wayfair is refusing to send a professional assembler because nothing is damaged or missing. Pretty sure this would be considered both.

By the way, that’s Photoshopped. Good going there.

BTW you are wrong. Unless said journalist has a DIAGNOSIS. hydration cream is amazing Or a family member whom they will ATTRIBUTE TO. This is getting tiresome.

Isn’t it that you who gave me the Newsweek link? They are “MSM.”

He fails that curve.

I think that’s why these opinion and editorial outlets came along. Like MSNBC, for example. They are perfectly within their scope to report a statement signed by that many neurology experts. It’s just not something that you would put in a traditional, mainstream news story.

I believe them. But as a journalist, I was not able to report something as a fact, because other people thought it was true. Do you understand where I’m going with this? You only report what is documented by his personal physician. Who is a shyster, I get it.

Wait, facts can be reported, even in the absence of facts? OK, goodbye.

I’m about to end this discussion unless you show me proof that he has been officially diagnosed with any level of cognitive decline following in-person examinations.

You literally claimed that several physicians have reported it.

Now show me proof or I’m gone.

I can tell you’ve never worked for a news organization. You are sounding like a nut right now. No offense, but journalists can be very aware of things and still not include them in their reporting. Because oh my God, I can’t believe I’m having this conversation. Blaming the media is just absurd.

This also reminds me of Terri Schiavo, whom a GOP senator diagnosed as not being in a persistent vegetative state, even though he never examined her. He saw a video. That is not become part of the fact record. And this discussion is totally ridiculous.

I don’t understand why you guys are having such a problem with this. You just showed me evidence of what the other guy said never happens. So I’m kind of confused.

And I’m still waiting for you to show me where he was diagnosed with a lack of cognitive ability sufficient to perform his job.

I was a journalist. You don’t report things like “dementia” without a formal diagnosis. Maybe you should start there. You are the one who claims there was a formal diagnosis and yet you have yet to disclose it. That’s odd, because Trump never allows his medical information to be released.

I think the bandana element gave it a special touch, don’t you? I expected to see Calamity Jane, Noem in one of her cosplay outfits.

I’m sorry you don’t understand how journalism works. I can’t help you any longer. Journalism is a pursuit of attribution. Let it go.

But if we annex Canada, just think of how many more House seats we would get. And I don’t think they would be Republican. 😎

Unless you have something countering this, please stop media-bashing. It’s embarrassing.

I’m sorry, but you just don’t understand how journalism works. You can’t look at a family member and determine that someone else has the same condition. I don’t know why some of you expect miracles out of journalists. Opinion writers can say all they want. Not straight news.

I have not seen any such reports. What doctors? The only physician he has is paid to say that he is fit to win a decathlon.

And they seem to get a really special kick out of it, as if it gives them sexual pleasure. That’s just disgusting.
