Today we managed to catch up with this LITTLE AUK on the sea approximately 100 yards outside of Ramsgate Harbour mouth. Present earlier in the day and likely to have been the bird found by J Carnell et al at N Foreland. It flapped its small wings and then flew S towards Pegwell Bay.

Princes Parade, Hythe Kent - a very late Common Tern on the beach this morning. Very little info on separating ‘hirundo’ from ‘longipennis’ in winter? All views welcome! Also 4 Velvet Scoter still on sea. With @a1virginia.bsky.social
