Trump recently claimed that "EU was formed to screw the US".
Anyone with a glimpse of historical knowledge knows he's wrong.
But on the other hand: Maybe now is the time, just for once, to prove him right?
Fun fact: EU has roughly 110 mio. more inhabitants, e.g. consumers, than the US.

PS: Greenland has semi-autonomous status within the Danish Realm. Maybe someday, it will be fully independent. But that's up to the Greenlanders to decide. Not some random guy in the White House, who cannot even get the facts right.

jo jo - men nu er den græske rente jo heller ikke hvad den har været ;-) Begge lande ligger og roder omkring de 3% - meget langt fra de 30+% som den græske rente var, da det stod værst til.....
Bortset fra det, så håber jeg da alt det værste for Macrons regering og dens økonomiske politik.

Tragikomisk

Dahl er "dybt skuffet" over at regeringen ikke sætter spørgsmålstegn ved ICC - en institution DK har arbejdet for at fremme i årevis. Jeg er dybt skuffet over, at en del danskere bevidstløst efterplaprer den misinformerende israelske propaganda, der skød op som en gejser efter arrestordrene.

Så i øvrigt kortet gengivet første gang på det fine museum Mosede Fort, hvor det bruges til at fortælle om, hvordan de krigsførende magter under 1. VK ivrigt saboterede hinandens telegrafkabler.
Politikere og journalister kunne med fordel gå oftere på museum......

The one strong prediction I have - this is going to lead to US financial sanctions against ICC employees, and possibly the ICC as an institution. That is going to get ugly for the EU.

Try writing some posts on the war in Ukraine. From a marxist perspective, of course, but with a pinch of stoic psychology. That will make you sky-rocket....

Its more complicated: Public property in housing, welfare and basic utilities - but seldom in production. Danish SD shifted towards political control instead of public ownership already in the 1920's. Swedish "funktionssocialisme" also assign public ownership a minor role.

Så er det en uge siden min seneste bog udkom. Et forsøg på at skrive arbejder- og industrihistorie som coffee-table book :-)

The Russell tribunal, accusing USA of war crimes in Vietnam, had a hard time to find a meeting place. After being rejected in Paris and London, the first session was in Stockholm and the second in Roskilde. I'm presently working on the story.
