Sony has pulled a generational bag fumble, and in my opinion, it's all downstream from Jim Ryan's leadership going all-in on the Live Service model and having nearly every studio working on one (Bluepoint was working on a God of War live service) and what we're seeing is the long tailed fallout.

The decision to focus on live service games has to be one of the worst things Sony has ever done, and the fallout has been insane. Broken studios. So much lost dev time and money. It's so maddening and sad.
