stories already navigate this by juggling perspectives, and vr streams also do it with alternate views of scenes. and, if we've been working with a "pre-alpha" version of microphilia, gts might suddenly make a lot more sense to those with a dormant microphilia.
there are a ton of other types of feedback as well, like "if thoughts cause bodily reactions, and you're experiencing another person's thoughts in your mind, their thoughts and experiences might also affect your own body." there become too many new ways to understand the fetish.
the tiny gets an extremely unique experience that covers all senses, but the giant gets very little feedback.
but if every giant girl had a live feed of the tiny's total experiences and feelings in her brain, like another monitor, the amount of feedback would skyrocket.
building on other posts, if telepathy were real, microphilia might also change dramatically. a common complaint by those in giant roles is that you aren't experiencing as much as the tiny. you can barely see the tinies, you can't read their expressions, hear them, or feel much of them.
these theories can get a little schizo, but i think they're fun to think about.

expanding on this a bit, i remember a long time ago a friend saying it'd be nice if tinies were drawn with more detail for more appeal, and it stuck with me. finding a way to make weakboys appealing in a way that's true to them is good.
i use the term "weakboy" a lot to describe a style of tiny, but i think weakboys are actually strong. for example, wally is the strongest psychic trainer in his gen. tails, cloud, izzy etc. are hard to describe as weak, even though they're "weakboys."
it's better when wb's are strong in unique ways.

being able to view and stop viewing a gts image has some layers of consent built into the experience. whether someone considers that full consent or not might be subjective though.
i remember some of my earliest gts thoughts were "chosing" to be tiny, not being born tiny.
to some extent, i don't think many of us have ever seen gts content that doesn't have some aspect of meta consent involving viewers.
i think the idea that consent is important in gts undersells it. consent (or meta-consent) might be core to the fetish.

imo wording in macrophilia seems really lacking, and leans too heavily on bdsm/femdom terms that sometimes only vaguely relate, which might force specific framing. i've heard some sexologists wonder if bdsm language may hide nuance as well (though not enough research there, either).
i think that's a good observation, but i'm not sure if i'd still call it dominance. at the very least a form of something. i've heard suggestions focusing on words that lean more experiential (like the haunted house metaphor).
in a lot of gts content, it feels more exploratory, like a saccharine survival horror. the gts is more like a cute haunted house than a traditional femdom dictator.
i've heard people say macrophilia is about dominance, but i don't think it's really like that all the time.

i think an argument he missed is also that the guy's older wacky work might be because you'd have to be wacky to record an event like that. people had similar criticisms of bob lazar, that he was "too weird," but it might take a weird person to disclose those things.

i think alien interview's is interesting because it maps heavily onto a lot of paraphilias. if bodies are just suits worn by consciousness, and can be genetically produced, it's easy to imagine macrophilia, or even furries, being a latent memory of that.
i go back and forth reading about things like remote viewing (cia psychic program), and the loosh or alien interview versions of it ( archive.org/details/alie... ), although the author/editor is dubious, the alien interview version is an interesting rabbit hole.

personally, some "matrix" or "prison planet" ideas are interesting, that many of our conflicts are orchestrated by some malevolent entities to keep us distracted, and there are other entities in disagreement with them.
