that’s the thing. it’s fine if the activities are actually fun and interesting, but there’s a lot of games that have repetitive side content that takes away the fun factor of the open world

exactly. there’s no point in having a open world that feels like one giant checklist rather than an interesting place to explore. i had this problem with FFXV in particular
