I thought #adolescence was brilliant but Iโ€™ve got a nagging feeling about episode 3. The more I think about it the more unethical the whole assessment felt: is this really how assessments work? Surely leaving a vulnerable child feeling abandoned purely to get the information needed is not right.

An inspection of Probation Service โ€“ Yorkshire and the Humber region

Good to see new Effective Practice Spotlights from HMI Probation being published with inspection reports.

Provides a number of examples of where probation work is done well, a nice antidote to inspection reports which bring the negatives to the fore.
