I have been introducing my wife to Kevin Smith via Tubi. It’s so refreshing to go back to old comedies. Some humour arguably hasn’t aged well, but it is so clear there is no real malice behind it in so many cases. Just movies bounding in tongue-in-cheek optimism before cynical irony became the norm.
If you asked me my favourite game/franchise, I probably wouldn’t say Resident Evil, but I have replayed the Resident Evil games more than any other game I own (barring Dark Souls, maybe) so maybe I wouldn’t know what the fuck I am talking about.

If you play Resident Evil 6 immediately after playing Resident Evil 5, you will realize that Resident Evil 6 is a superior game in every way. I want a Resident Evil 5 remake simply so Capcom can fix Sheva's AI. It's the only game in the series I have virtually no desire to replay.

Off to a good start this year, even if Prime 4 dropped the Morph Ball at the end. Renegades was specifically Equilibrium. I played the campaign in December. Gonna try to squeeze Dino Crisis in before Requiem now, but I have to start over. Old save file lost when I had to reinstall Windows.
I could tolerate all of that though. But this ain't it. I've always preferred 2D Metroid. I am not the biggest fan of the Prime games in the first place. But if I wanted to play Mercy, I'd play Overwatch. Heroes never die, but Myles MacKenzie sure fucking does.
