I don't know if anyone else who grew up disabled has experienced this but I find my parents only talk about my disability in the past tense/only talk about what they used to have to do for me. It's like they want to be the hero in my story while I still struggle silently.

No why am I crying. I had a really bad few days with my mom being ill and then a bad shift and work and I woke up this morning to my friend saying she's sent me some presents to cheer me up 😭 I honestly don't deserve her this is so sweet

This! Because why am I in my late 20s only just doing things my peers did in their childhood/teen years. Like now concerts have more seating options I've been able to go to those. And I've been able to travel more because transport is more accessible.

Being disabled your entire life is so weird cause your friends will talk about experiences they all had and you kinda just sit there realising how much your disability held you back

Working on a cc-free Victorian funeral home...and I'm struggling with the interiors due to the lack of appropriate clutter. Still, I like how these areas are coming along in this build! Just waiting for those new build/buy assets......

This is my sim Nell Hawthorne. She's gen 3 of my current legacy. Honestly don't think I've ever loved a sim more. Her traits are loyal, practice makes perfect and bookworm. She's also a spellcaster with the ancient bloodline trait. I'm planning on playing the new pack with her.
