Whatever you do, don't bring up the marinara's divorce.
I CAN NOW CONFIRM, this was a great-great-grandmother on my mother’s side. I was initially told this was a cousin, but apparently I was led astray.
He passed away in 2019, two weeks before another grandfather—my father’s father—passed away from cancer.
I wrote a poem about their passings. It’s one of my favorites I’ve ever written. It still hasn’t found its home, but I hope it does someday.
I figured out his routine eventually, but then he was scary in a different way because I never knew how to one-up his shtik.
Willard was one of my grandfathers. He was my mom’s step-father. When I was little, I saw him as stoic and stern and scary. Little did I know, he was the biggest jokester alive. He leaned into me thinking he was scary—he’d prank me every time I said good-bye by barking like a dog every time.
My town’s holiday décor includes Memory Trees, where a very kind soul volunteers their time to make an ornament to dedicated to a passed loved one every year. I try to find all of my relatives on it each holiday season since their ornament location changes. I have only found one so far.
this guy now feels comfortable to WALK ACROSS my laptop and INADVERTENTLY hit send on an email 😤

I also get to make cocktail and mocktail lists 🥹🤧
I have the time to post here, so today’s fun fact about me is I am currently being roasted this holiday season for not being a big fan of pie.

This is going to harm small and rural libraries and the communities they serve. Now is the time to:
➡️ Sign up for a local and state library card (if your state offers one)
➡️ Visit your IMLS funded museums
➡️ Call your legislators and demand they stand up for funding America’s libraries and museums
It is 5 a.m.
Cory Booker has been speaking on the Senate floor for ten hours.
There are about 13.7k people watching live on his YouTube page.

🚨 Everyone needs to call their Dem Senator right now. They are starting to cave.
Tell them:
1. Vote NO on Cloture
AND
2. Vote NO on the Republican spending bill.
Don’t let them pivot to reconciliation. GOP doesn’t need Dem votes on that and they know it.
TODAY is the showdown.
