Yes, utterly baffling but well worth a watch.

Prime Minister appoints expert Cost of Living Champion The Prime Minister has directly appointed Lord Richard Walker as the Government’s Cost of Living Champion today.

Urgh. I missed this obscene appointment last month. A man who offered people Β£1 vouchers to grass on shoplifters made "Cost of Living Champion". Fuck sake. www.gov.uk/government/n...

Pleased the article started with the Calthorpe Arms. An excellent local boozer ran for many years by Adrian, a legend for his amazing basic but great value scran and his bonhomie. Was home to my Quiz League of London team for years and even hosted the wedding reception for my first marriage.

Oddly, that's also not her husband but another person whose sob story has been tacked onto the article.

I'd say it meets all of these really.

I was just off to the right there and I said to my brother that I was a definite red but pretty everyone else around us was screaming at the ref that it was never a red. Overly partisan fans baffle me too.

Went for a nice long walk today to blast out yesterday's beers. Been a decent weekend so far, Scarborough win would have been nice but we've scored more goals against Macclesfield this season than Brentford and Palace combined. Here's two photos from the walk.

Lovely goal from Wakka.

This might be the most perfect encapsulation of a Daily Mail front page, big racist splash headline, a focus on globally seismic events only through British tourists, some Royal bullshit

3) Find Out Now need to be removed from the list of respectable pollsters. It cannot be accurate to use a pollster than uses such small self-selecting samples through a site that Muslim voters will not use.

Three takeaways from me.
1) If we count the Labour vote as mostly progressive (which I do, unlike the leadership), then nearly 70% of the vote was for progressive parties and 30% for regressive parties.
2) More needs to be said about the regression of the Conservative Party. Less than 1000 votes..

Might have to stop watching Silent Witness, it's got so so shit. There's no way Jack would be remanded in prison having been charged with murder when the previous scene confirmed that the post mortem was inconclusive. At least Nikki will abandon all medical ethics to prove his innocence.

My policy is not to get into arguments on here as its completely pointless so won't bother reply. I'll leave you to your rather rudely put views and mute you.

Thanks Robert, that is completely true. I also want the left to be more united and stop bloody attacking each other, it's infuriating.

I am still glad we have a Labour government rather than the alternative fwiw.

I have a very good left wing MP who I support and two good Labour councillors who understand our community but the leadership is lost and getting more lost and I think the Green Party have the best solutions.

What I don't like is the refusal to acknowledge a genocide, the refusal to do anything about the eroding of trans rights, the refusal to address massive multinationals tax dodging, the refusal to apply a simple wealth tax to the appallingly weather and throwing at trident but not foreign aid.
